Context: Physical maturation during adolescence is closely linked to holistic health and motor performance, with sports participation serving as a determinant factor in its development. Objective: To evaluate physical development in adolescents participating in organized sports at a municipal club in Lima, Peru. Methodology: A quantitative approach with a descriptive, cross-sectional design was employed. The sample consisted of 60 male adolescents (aged 13–17 years), assessed using standardized tests for strength, speed, flexibility, and cardiorespiratory endurance. Descriptive statistics and Spearman’s Rho correlation were applied. Results: Findings indicated that 70% of participants achieved "expected" or "outstanding" proficiency levels. While strength, speed, and flexibility demonstrated superior performance, cardiorespiratory endurance showed greater variability. Significant positive correlations were identified among the evaluated physical capacities. Conclusions: Organized sports participation promotes comprehensive physical development in adolescents by enhancing strength, speed, and flexibility. Differentiated monitoring that accounts for individual progression—particularly in cardiorespiratory endurance—is recommended to optimize the benefits of athletic training.
