Teaching strategies for written text production in primary education: a systematic review
Publicado
2026-07-24

Context: Written text production in primary education fosters the development of critical thinking and effective communication, serving as a fundamental learning skill. Objective: To analyze the didactic strategies employed for written text production in primary education in Peru. Methodology: A systematic literature review was conducted, selecting 14 studies published between 2021 and 2025. Pedagogical approaches, research designs, and implementation regions were evaluated. Results: The most frequent strategies identified were collaborative work, gamification, and the communicative approach. Quasi-experimental designs predominated, with samples concentrated in Lima, Huancavelica, and Cusco. Interventions based on didactic processes significantly improved students' textualization, coherence, and cohesion in their written production. Conclusions: The diversification of didactic strategies within the Peruvian context enhances written production in primary schools. It is recommended to expand research to regions with lower educational coverage to strengthen the evidence regarding the effectiveness of these practices and to promote more equitable pedagogical improvements across the country.
